Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer


CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee a diverse range of commercial properties.

The successful candidate will possess a robust background in the maintenance of commercial facilities and will be responsible for various contracts throughout the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Conduct scheduled Electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and address reactive maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team, leveraging additional skills as necessary.
  • Perform maintenance on Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), and HVAC systems.
  • Execute PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, mechanical systems, and building structures.
  • Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
  • Engage in general building maintenance tasks.
  • Respond to Helpdesk requests, assessing job requirements and executing repairs as needed.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive base salary of up to £42,000.
  • Travel expenses covered from door to door.
  • Company van and fuel card provided.
  • On-call duties on a rotational basis.
  • Opportunities for overtime work.
  • In-house training programs available.

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Electrical or equivalent qualifications.
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Strong understanding of electrical services.
  • Proficient administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience in general building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled capabilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required.
  • Mechanical experience is a plus.
