Payroll Specialist

Oakleaf Partnership is working with a well-established and growing UK business in Skelmersdale who are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join and support a busy team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the payroll process from start to finish, including processing monthly payroll and adjustments such as overtime, holidays, and absence.
- Set up new starters and process leavers, as well as handle any payroll queries from colleagues.
- Maintain accurate pensions records and send out relevant documentation to new starters.
- Run various reports and perform monthly checks and compliance to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Support the wider Finance team and work collaboratively with the People function.
- Previous experience in a similar role, managing end-to-end payroll processes.
- Good Excel skills and knowledge of the Sage50 Payroll system is desirable but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to join a growing business and take ownership of the payroll function.
