Hydrologist / Senior Hydrologist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Hydrologist working for a leading environmental consultant in the UK. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality consultancy services, managing ecological surveys, and liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves project management, communication with clients, and helping to grow the consultancy. You will be responsible for:

  1. Managing ecological surveys and conducting flood risk assessments
  2. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality consultancy services
  3. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Hydrology qualification
  • 5 years minimum experience from a UK consultancy
  • Experience with surface water drainage SUDS, surface water management plans, and hydraulic modelling
  • Sound knowledge of UK legislations and regulations
  • A Full driving licence
  • MSc in Hydrology (desirable)
