About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd.

As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of health and safety professionals to ensure compliance with local legislation and company policies.
  • Analyse data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure effective communication of health and safety information.
About the Team

Our Customer Fulfilment team is at the heart of Amazon's Operations network, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is always looking for ways to improve and innovate.

We are based in Fulfilment Centres, which are the first point of contact for many Amazon packages. Our team is responsible for managing dynamic inventory and facilitating speedy deliveries round the clock.

Requirements
  • Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level.
  • Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
