We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our innovative and supportive team at SGN. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in driving people capability and supporting the development and delivery of our organisational strategy.

About the Role

As a HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading on the development of the people strategy and plan for defined business areas, ensuring alignment with our organisational strategy. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of the business plan, goals, and challenges faced by the business area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR plans that reflect the specific needs of the business area and ensure HR interventions are pragmatic and fit for purpose.
  • Lead action planning on the full range of HR activities for defined business areas, working with specialist HR functions to develop delivery plans.
  • Represent the HR agenda and provide HR influence within the business area, providing support, advice, and challenge to the leadership team and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with necessary policies and processes, and have a deep understanding of the legislative landscape.
  • Be commercially savvy and able to align the people plan to support the delivery of the business area's strategy.
  • Have strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a challenging workload with competing priorities.
