We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the development of current and future seeker systems.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development, with a focus on real-time systems. You will be working with state-of-the-art technology, designing and implementing software solutions for complex missile systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop embedded software for real-time systems
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate software components
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless system integration
  • Develop and maintain software documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and testing
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in embedded software development
  • Strong proficiency in C programming
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCI-Express)
  • Experience with software design methodologies (e.g. UML)
  • Ability to analyze system performance and integration
