We are seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to join our Life Insurance Claims team in Cardiff. As a Claims Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the support they need during a challenging time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taking inbound calls and responding to emails from customers who are seeking an update on their life insurance claim
  • Making a positive impact on our customers, specifically those who hold protection policies with us, by ensuring their claim is handled sensitively and efficiently
  • Completing and managing claim tasks in accordance with best practice guides, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Taking ownership of all customer communication, keeping them informed throughout the process
  • Identifying and resolving complaints in a professional and friendly manner
  • Liaising with third parties, such as reinsurers and medical providers, to ensure seamless communication
  • Utilizing the most effective method of contact to meet customer expectations
  • Contributing to claims projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting customers, regardless of their personal circumstances
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to offer support and feedback to colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and motivated team culture
  • Confidence in using desktop or laptop technology and experience with MS Office
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems effectively
  • Ability to manage time productively and prioritize workload efficiently
