About the Role:
We are seeking a Qualified Deck Hand to join our deep-water fleet. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations on deck, working across our diverse fleet of vessels located in Timaru. This is an independent contractor role where you will work 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off, enjoying endless amounts of food and staying connected with Wi-Fi while earning all year-round.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain fishing gear and vessel equipment.
  • Load and unload supplies and catch, ensuring proper handling and storage.

Requirements:
  • Hold an Advanced Deckhand Fishing Certification (ADH-F) or equivalent.
  • Previous work on a fishing vessel or other maritime roles.

Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $NZD 80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including access to modern vessels, opportunities for professional development, and a dynamic work environment.
