Expert Rehabilitation Psychologist

We are seeking an Expert Rehabilitation Psychologist to join our team at HMP Dovegate, a Category B male establishment based in the UK. This is a unique opportunity to work with long-term prisoners who are engaged in therapy to reduce their risk of re-offending.
The successful candidate will be a Chartered psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration as a Forensic Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will have extensive experience in secure settings and working with offenders with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver therapeutic interventions to support rehabilitation and risk reduction
- Conduct clinical assessments and formulate treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for prisoners
- Manage and inspire staff to deliver high-quality services
- Write reports and present evidence in formal settings
Requirements:
- Chartered status with the BPS and HCPC registration
- Extensive experience in secure settings and working with complex offenders
- Strong skills in clinical formulation, risk assessment, and therapeutic interventions
- Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and manage staff
- Expertise in report writing and presenting evidence
Desirable Qualifications:
- Registration with the Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAAPS)
- Group Psychotherapy training and/or experience
- Experience with administering and interpreting psychological assessments like PCL-R and IPDE
