Palliative Care Specialist Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Band 6 Nurse to join our Intensive Home Nursing Team as a Palliative Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, delivering high-quality patient care within palliative care.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in palliative care, leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a professional team. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly to cover the needs of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide specialist palliative care advice and guidance to the nursing team.
  • To support the Operational Service Lead and Clinical Services Manager in providing coordinated, effective care to patients who are requiring End of Life care at home.
  • To deputise in the absence of the Operational Service Lead and provide daily support with the operational management of the Intensive Home Nursing Service.

Estimated Salary: £50,476 per annum, dependent on experience.
