About the role

Phoenix Yacht Management is seeking an experienced Operational Superintendent to join our team in Dubai. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our fleet of vessels.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yacht management, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior position. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring vessel budgets and ensuring compliance with company management systems
  • Preparing monthly management meetings and vessel inspection reports
  • Ensuring vessels adhere to Class and Flag requirements
  • Providing technical support to the Technical Superintendent
  • Crew management, including interviews and training

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 5 years' sea-going experience in a senior position
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business IT systems
  • Good command of English and report writing
