Job Summary

New Wine Trust is currently looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Part-time Children's Department Assistant. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Director of Children's Ministry in implementing the children's ministry strategy, ensuring smooth execution of events and activities.
  2. Recruit, organize, and schedule volunteers to support Sunday groups and babies and toddlers programs.
  3. Maintain accurate records, plan sessions, and oversee resource organization to ensure efficient operations.
  4. Support the Baby Bank initiative by liaising with clients and creating packs for expectant mothers.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £24,000 per annum (pro rata £14,400) reflects the importance of this role in supporting the growth of New Wine Trust.
  • The successful candidate will be eligible for a direct contribution pension scheme, promoting financial stability and security.
  • Five working weeks holiday per year, plus five designated public holidays, plus five public holiday days allocated pro rata.
  • Up to five Sundays off per year, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.

Requirements:

  • A practicing Christian, demonstrating a strong commitment to faith and values.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage teams.
  • Able to work flexibly, including Sundays and Thursdays, to meet the demands of this role.
