Job Title: Junior Loan Servicing Specialist - Bridging

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Stellar Select Limited. As a Junior Loan Servicing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of bridging loans, communicating with customers, and ensuring compliance with regulations and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Management: Manage a portfolio of bridging loans, ensuring timely redemption and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers on all loans to ensure redemption is on track or alternative support/solutions are required.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure the full collections, redemptions, and default loans policy is met on all loans.
  • Redemption and Default Management: Ownership of redemption, bridge loans, commencing three months before loan completion or where indicated.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with clients and solicitors for the redemption of upcoming loans.
  • Statement Preparation: Prepare and review all redemption statements.
  • Default Case Management: Ownership of all default cases whether through receivership or the legal possession process and communicate with all parties involved.
  • Forbearance and Compliance: Explore all options of forbearance in line with customers' circumstances and ensure loans are fully compliant with regulations and processes during the loan's life cycle.
  • Loan Extension and Litigation: Engage and manage all loan extension requests promptly and manage complex litigation cases which cannot follow the standard litigation process.
  • Reporting and Audit: Assist with monthly reporting and internal or external audit or review.
  • Team Collaboration: Forge positive relations with internal and external teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience in collections or loan servicing is highly desirable, however we can also consider graduates keen to develop a career in financial services.
  • Skills: Highly organized with great communication skills.
