Welfare Officer

Role Overview: As a Welfare Officer at Academics Ltd, you will be the first point of contact for students needing care, guidance, and support. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our children are happy, healthy, and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide First Aid: Attend to students with minor injuries or health issues and ensure their well-being throughout the school day.
- Emotional Support: Offer a listening ear and practical assistance to students experiencing emotional difficulties, helping them feel safe and supported.
- Liaise with Parents and Staff: Maintain strong communication between home and school, ensuring parents are informed and involved in their child's care.
- Promote Well-Being: Encourage positive mental health practices, working with teachers and parents to foster a supportive environment.
- Support Attendance: Assist with attendance monitoring and provide guidance to families facing challenges.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or working with children.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding.
- Excellent communication skills.
- First Aid training (or willingness to undergo training).
