Marshall Fleet Solutions, a leading provider of fleet management solutions, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial role in the maintenance of the purchase ledger, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and expenses. This role involves processing purchase ledger invoices and expenses, resolving account queries, and reconciling supplier accounts. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile all invoices and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Resolve account queries and discrepancies with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier information.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and ensure accurate payment of invoices.
  • Assist with BACS payments to suppliers and employees for expense payments.

Requirements:

  • GCSE or equivalent grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a fleet management or logistics environment.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and other MS Office packages.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
