We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that we provide an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for delivering high standards of customer service. You will also have the ability to motivate and lead a team of colleagues, providing guidance and support where needed.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers. This includes supporting your colleagues, ensuring they deliver daily priorities and take regular breaks. You will also be responsible for opening and closing the store, completing duty cover, and making sure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented.

You will also need to be comfortable taking the lead, overseeing the store in the absence of your Manager, and making decisions that are right for everyone's safety. Additionally, you will need to be a good decision maker, who is flexible in the way you think, and comfortable handling change.
