Job Title: Senior Planner
At Westlakes Recruit, we are seeking a skilled Senior Planner to join our team in Cumbria. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of planners to shape the next generation of planning professionals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a team of planners to develop and implement plans for construction projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
- Develop and implement effective planning strategies to ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on planning-related matters.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve planning processes and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in planning services, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of planning techniques and toolsets.
- Understanding of tender documents, contracts, and specifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills to inspire and motivate a team of planners.
