About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Manager to join our team on a Monday to Friday day basis.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to manage risks effectively, and possess strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective HSE strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  2. Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and develop control measures to mitigate potential risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of HSE excellence throughout the organisation.
  4. Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, incidents, and near misses.
  5. Provide training and guidance to employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as an HSE Manager in a similar industry or sector.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including CDM, COSHH, and RIDDOR.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Location and Salary

This role is based in Liverpool, with easy commutability from surrounding areas.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus:
