Job Title: Global Technical Operations Lead

Join Personal Group as a Global Technical Operations Lead and take on a critical role in configuring, maintaining, and monitoring our technology infrastructure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and security of our systems, with a focus on troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technical professional to lead our technical operations team. As a Global Technical Operations Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching and recommending new approaches to improve our technology infrastructure to meet current and future business needs.
  • Acting as technical lead on projects related to infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and new technology implementations.
  • Establishing team KPIs to ensure a high level of service is provided to the business.
  • Configuring and maintaining technology infrastructure systems, including hardware, software, and applications.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
  • Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
  • Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
  • Managing administration of key IT systems, including maintenance and support of hardware and software environments.
  • Managing the installation, configuration, and upgrade of hardware and software in line with standards.
  • Assisting with the development of IT documentation.
  • Building solutions to create stability and flexibility for all employees using IT services.
  • Providing technical support when requested.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery.
  • Experience of managing and developing technical support resources.
  • Full Microsoft tech stack (including Azure).
  • Experience of measuring and monitoring products.
  • ITIL V4 experience.
  • Security products and services such as Firewalls, End-Point Security, and Penetration and Vulnerability Testing.
  • Rocket Software (Universe).
  • Python.
