Job Title: Security Officer

Join ABM UK, a leading provider of integrated facility services, as a Security Officer at Churchill Square Shopping Centre in Brighton. As a key member of our Security Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our customers, tenants, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with visitors and tenants in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre, identifying and addressing potential security risks.
  • Proactively assist customers and respond to incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Services team to deliver a seamless service and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and non-conformances, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

  • Professional, pleasant, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
