Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Package Manager to join our team in Port Talbot, South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in heavy construction and civil engineering to work on a major programme of construction works.
The successful candidate will oversee the design, coordination, and management of sub-contractor employed in various trades within the respective area of works. They will also be responsible for interfacing between internal departments and external agencies, such as Architects, Engineers, Construction Workers, Sub-contractors, Client agents, Clerk of Works, and Site Staff.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering, heavy construction, construction management, or a related field. They must be a Team Player, hands-on, and have a 'can do' attitude. IT proficiency is a must, and they should have proven working experience in package management. Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards is also essential.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our competitive rewards packages feature flexible benefits to fit your lifestyle and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, coordination, and management of sub-contractors.
- Interface between internal departments and external agencies.
- Coordinate and manage works contractors under a Construction Management form of contract (NEC 4).
- Organise and conduct weekly site progress meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree in civil engineering, heavy construction, construction management, or a related field.
- Team Player, hands-on, and 'can do' attitude.
- IT proficiency.
- Proven working experience in package management.
