Job Title: Corporate Solicitor

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Solicitor to join our team at CV-Library. As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with matters on behalf of clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including M&As, corporate deals, shareholder agreements, management buy-ins/outs, restructuring, and financing.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and clients.
  • Working on a varied caseload.
  • Leading the growth of the commercial department.
  • Ensuring clients have the confidence to instruct the firm to solve their problems.
  • Undertaking business development activities to help grow the business.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Commercial Solicitor/Legal Executive (ideally 4 years+ PQE).
  • Sound knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
  • Experience in M&As, corporate deals, shareholder agreements, management buy-ins/outs, restructuring, financing, and general commercial work.
  • Experience managing varied caseloads.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to fully understand the needs of business clients.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Driven to provide the highest level of client service at all times.
  • Focused and hard-working attitude.
  • Proactive nature.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • IT literate.
