Senior Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior nurse to join our team as a Sister/Charge Nurse. This is a senior role that requires a high degree of professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability.
About the RoleThe Sister/Charge Nurse will be responsible for providing leadership to the nursing team, promoting trust values, and contributing to the development of quality, patient experience, and patient safety agendas. This will involve improving quality methodology and Clinical Governance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership to the nursing team and promote trust values
- Contribute to the development of quality, patient experience, and patient safety agendas
- Improve quality methodology and Clinical Governance
- Work closely with the Ward Manager and Matron to ensure the delivery of clinical activities and coordination of care throughout the department
- Be responsible and act as a professional role model and mentor for junior colleagues
- Be involved in appraisals, absence management, and rostering
- Attend ward meetings and ensure that information is shared with the wider team
- Develop practice through audit and IQP
- Complete regular audits as required by the trust
