Job Summary

Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Fitter/Engineer to join our team in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile construction equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, and small plant.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with plant equipment, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with our foreman fitter to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction plant maintenance, with a strong understanding of hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Validated experience with excavators, dump trucks, and small plant, including mini diggers.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
