Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated HGV Technician to join our fleet maintenance team in Slough. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
Routine Vehicle Maintenance
Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks to VOSA standards.
Presentation of Vehicles and Trailers
Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspections.
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment and perform necessary repairs.
Housekeeping and Safety
Maintain good housekeeping practices and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Paperwork and Administration
Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Licenses and Certifications
A Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician qualification.
Diagnostic Experience
Experience with diagnostic equipment and a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
HGV License
A valid HGV license is desirable but not essential.
