Arborist Professional

We are seeking a skilled Arborist Professional to join our team at ICS Tree Services Ltd. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tree care and maintenance, ensuring the health and safety of trees in various environments.

About the Role:

• Assess the condition of trees and determine appropriate care methods.
• Use hand tools and power tools to prune, trim, and remove trees as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks, including planting and caring for new trees.
• Collaborate with team members to execute groundskeeping duties effectively.
• Provide recommendations for tree care based on mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Basic machine maintenance duties and driving of company vehicles as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tree surgery or related fields is preferred.
• NPTC Certs to include Cs 30, 31, 38, 39.
• CSCS card an advantage but further training will be provided for the right person.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting and digging.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driving licence may be required for transportation to job sites.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Additional Information:

• This role can be PAYE or self-employed.
• The salary range for this position is £28,000-£35,000 per year, depending on experience.
