About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with eating disorders and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients with ARFID and related eating difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and students on paediatric medicine and eating disorders.
  • Participate in research and quality improvement activities to advance the field of paediatric medicine.
Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC with licence to practice.
  • Entry on the Specialist Register in Paediatrics or be within six months of attaining a Certificate of Completion of Training at the time of interview.
  • MRCPCH or equivalent.
  • MBBS or equivalent.
  • Registerable medical qualification.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Other higher degree or diploma (e.g. MD).
  • Experience caring for children with eating disorders.
  • Specialist interest in nutrition.
  • Experience of implementing service change to enhance the quality of patient care.
  • Experience of leadership and management.
