Backend Software Engineer / Developer (C# .Net SQL) Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer / Developer to join our team in London. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for developing algorithmic trading systems using a modern tech stack.

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of highly intelligent technologists and finance professionals to design, develop, and deploy complex systems. You will work closely with Quant teams to architect valuation, risk, and pricing systems, delivering massively scalable, high-performance streaming compute operations.

You will be equipped with the latest technology and tools to help you succeed, as well as opportunities for technical ownership from day one. Our team is passionate about innovation and continuous learning, and we encourage our team members to take ownership of their projects and ideas.

About You

  • You have an outstanding record of academic achievement, with a minimum 2.1 in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university.
  • You have advanced C# .Net programming skills, including .Net Core, and a strong knowledge of SQL databases.
  • You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, and Algorithms.
  • You are entrepreneurial with good business acumen, keen to take ownership and lead projects.
  • You are collaborative, enjoy problem-solving, and sharing ideas.
