Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Principal Designer & CDM Advisor to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a number of projects across various sectors, including public and private, on a mixture of new build, refurbishment, tall building remediation, and maintenance schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on multiple projects across the UK, visiting sites and reporting, as well as representing the organisation to clients and contractors.
- Leading the Safety Compliance team and contributing to the growth of the client base.
- Developing and implementing effective health and safety strategies and procedures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements:
- 10 years' experience in the construction industry with experience of CDM/Health and Safety issues in construction.
- Excellent working knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 and appropriate legislation.
- Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering the Principal Designer and CDM Advisor roles in the residential refurbishment, development, and commercial sector.
- Hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
- A willingness to travel to varied sites across the UK.
- Excellent communicator with interpersonal and organisational skills.
