About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team at KBR. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading mechanical teams on energy transition and petrochemical projects, encompassing concept development, front-end engineering design, and detailed design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, budget, organize, and control an important segment of a very extensive and highly diversified engineering program.
  • Responsible for a measurable asset such as an assigned staff and work hour budget and successful delivery of mechanical project scope of work.
  • Extensive interface with clients, project management, suppliers, corporate management, and the global team of mechanical engineers employed throughout KBR's worldwide offices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in leading mechanical teams on energy transition and petrochemical projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for innovative engineering solutions.
  • Knowledge of major mechanical equipment types, including static, machinery, and packaged equipment.
  • A working knowledge of industry standards for energy transition or oil and gas equipment.
