Overview

Drewery, an award-winning independent agent, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Lettings Negotiator to join their team. As a member of the Lettings/Property Management department, you will report to the Senior Lettings Manager and play a key role in progressing to a senior position within the company.

Job Description

This exciting role involves marketing properties, registering applicants, arranging viewings, encouraging and negotiating offers, and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for dealing with telephone, email, and text queries, as well as assisting with periodic property visits and prospecting for new business. Your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team will make you an asset to our team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Marketing properties & registering applicants •
  • Arranging viewings/attending/following up/providing feedback •
  • Encouraging and negotiating offers •
  • General admin duties •
  • Dealing with telephone, email & text queries •
  • Assisting with periodic property visits •
  • Prospecting/encouraging new business •
  • Advising/liaising with prospective landlords •
  • Input of data/marketing material/websites etc.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Good computer & IT skills •
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally by telephone, in person and writing •
  • Good organisational skills •
  • Achieving set targets •
  • Previous lettings/property or legal experience would be beneficial
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary (approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per year) based on experience and qualifications, 28 days paid leave including bank holidays, a pension scheme, and a supportive working environment.

Working Hours

You will be required to work 5 days a week, including Saturdays (with one day off during the week), from Monday to Friday (9am-6pm) and Saturday (9am-4pm). Must be a car driver with own vehicle. Job Type: Full-time.
