At Longleat, we are seeking a skilled Wildlife Conservation Specialist to join our team of experienced professionals dedicated to the care and well-being of exotic animals. The successful candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The salary for this role is up to £11.44 per hour, reflecting the importance of this position in ensuring the highest standards of animal care and welfare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our animal houses and enclosures, as well as engaging with guests and providing top-notch customer service.

About You

  • You must have a full UK driving licence to apply for this position.
  • You will have proven evidence of your interest and commitment to zoo and wildlife husbandry, having gained at least 18 months experience with exotic animals or domestic livestock.
  • You will have gained at least 5 GCSE's or equivalent.
  • You will have excellent communication skills allowing you to easily liaise with guests and colleagues across a variety of levels.
