About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Officer to join our Special Care and Paediatric Service in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality dental care to adults and children with additional needs who require specialist care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide preventive care and dental treatment to adults and children with physical, sensory, intellectual, mental, medical, social impairment or disability.
  • Care for children with extensive oral disease, developmental disorders of the teeth and mouth, and those who are anxious or too young to accept routine dental treatment.
  • Work in clinic locations, hospitals, and domiciliary settings to provide care where appropriate.

Requirements
  • Current full Registration as Dental Surgeon with General Dental Council.
  • Foundation (Vocational) Training/equivalence and current Performers List Number.
  • BDS (or equivalent).
