Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Guiseley Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 72 bed care facility in the heart of west Yorkshire, Leeds.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure a high quality of food service is provided to support residents, responsive to their needs and contributes to their overall positive experience of living in the Home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents.
• Ensure all food is nutritionally balanced, attractively presented and served in a timely manner.
• Manage and supervise the kitchen team, ensuring a high standard of infection control and adherence to the Food Standards Act 1999.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement a quality delivery of services.
• Inspire and motivate the team to produce food to the expected high standards.

Requirements:

• Experience of working in a care home or similar environment.
• Knowledge of specialised diets and service delivery.
• Ability to contribute to the development of the four-week menu.
• Ability to complete records demonstrating adherence to legal requirements.
