We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice District Nurse. As a key member of our community nursing team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes.
About the RoleAs an Apprentice District Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team to promote independence and support patient-centered care planning. You will provide care directly to patients on your caseload, including those with palliative care, complex wound care, and medication administration needs.
You will work autonomously, in line with your scope of practice, competence, and policies. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing holistic care and has a genuine desire to work in a community nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Promote independence and support patient-centered care planning
- Provide care directly to patients on your caseload
- Work autonomously, in line with your scope of practice, competence, and policies
- Degree in nursing or equivalent, qualifying September 2024
- Commitment to work towards supervisor/practice assessor qualification
- Commitment and understanding for a role in community nursing
- Relevant experience in community nursing or palliative care
