Job Overview

Mitie is seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team in the Peterborough/Cambridgeshire area. As an Electrical Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, LED lighting installations, and Electric Vehicle charger installations, among other tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake electrical installations, including LED lighting and electrical projects for the retail, industrial, commercial, and government sectors.
  • Work closely with the Lighting Project team, sub-contractors, and Project Manager to meet completion targets set for a particular project.
  • Ability to work nights and stay away from home as majority of work will be carried out outside of normal working hours.
  • Work to electrical drawings, including installation, circuit diagrams, and line schematics.
  • Produce a quality end product first time with no re-work required.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations th Edition Update.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance or NVQ 3 Electrical installation.
  • Test and Inspection desirable.
  • IPAF – Desirable, PASMA – Desirable.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize own workload.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
