Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HGV Drainage Engineer to join our Remedials/Reactive team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting drainage works at various client sites, including industrial estates, retail parks, shopping centers, and office buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a jet vac combi unit up to 26 tonnes.
- Perform vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and follow safety protocols for a remedials/reactive HGV drainage engineer.
- Carry out descale works for below ground drainage, line cleaning, root cutting, and confined space entry works.
- Conduct extensive tanker extraction works to foul and surface water systems, pump stations, and petrol interceptors.
- Work alongside CCTV & Drainage teams to support and facilitate surveys, inspections, and detailed investigation works, including fault finding and providing practical solutions to support client needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the Remedials/Reactive team.
Requirements
- At least a year's experience in the drainage industry.
- Class 2 license minimum.
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems and operations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to accommodate early morning starts and occasional overnight stays away from home.
