We are seeking an experienced and skilled Drama Teacher to join our well-established and successful Drama Department at a reputable mixed school in south London. As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach Drama at KS3 & KS4, contributing to the development of our students' creative, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, deliver, and assess Drama lessons at KS3 & KS4, promoting student engagement, motivation, and progress.
  • To contribute to the development of the Drama curriculum, ensuring it is engaging, relevant, and meets the needs of all students.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment data.
  • To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in Drama Education.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Drama Teacher who possesses:

  • A formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) and QTS.
  • Proven experience of teaching Drama at KS3 & KS4.
  • An ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in Drama Education.
