Finance Transformation Project

Taylor Hawkes Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fractional Finance Director to join their team on a part-time or full-time consultancy/contract basis for a finance transformation project. The company is experiencing challenges with their current finance function and needs a forward-thinking professional to help steer them in the right direction.

Role Overview:

As the Fractional Finance Director, you will work closely with the leadership team to assess and optimize their finance operations. This role involves a deep dive into their existing processes, identifying pain points, and implementing improvements to streamline their financial management. You will be pivotal in guiding their internal finance team and ensuring a smooth transition to a more efficient and scalable finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a thorough review of current finance processes, systems, and team capabilities.
  • Identify key areas for improvement and develop a strategic transformation plan.
  • Lead the implementation of process improvements to enhance financial control, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Mentor and support the internal finance team, providing guidance on best practices.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial strategy with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support the business in risk management.

About You:

  • Proven experience as a senior finance professional, preferably as a Finance Director or CFO within the retail sector.
  • Strong track record of leading finance function transformation projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience mentoring finance teams and driving change management.
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to work part-time, with the ability to adapt to the needs of a consultancy role.
