We are seeking a skilled Senior Radiographer to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiac MRI Specialist, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures and providing high-quality patient care. About the Role:
The successful candidate will have significant previous imaging experience and a strong understanding of Governance principles, including H& S, COSHH, Manual Handling, and MHRA. You will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. In addition, you will have a sound knowledge of all areas of radiography and be able to interpret and communicate complex information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex imaging procedures with training and completion of competencies.
- Collaborate with Radiographers, Radiologists, Cardiologists, Anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to provide and maintain a high-quality service to patients.
- Work towards completing training to advance practice as directed in the Expanded Scope of Practice.
- A competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
