About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate in biochemistry or a related field to embark on their first role in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain mammalian expression systems for complex therapeutic protein expression.
  2. Design and execute experiments to engineer mammalian cell lines using cutting-edge techniques.
  3. Characterize edited cell lines using various assays and cell culture techniques.
  4. Collaborate with R&D teams to deliver solutions or improvements in recombinant protein expression.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Science, or Molecular Biology.
  • Practical experience in industrial or academic settings.
  • Familiarity with molecular biology and cell culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in cell line engineering and synthetic biology technologies is highly desirable.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (£15.80 per hour)
