The mission of our team is to manage and administer the efficient operation of the Advanced Research Computing HPC (High-Performance Computing) systems and support their users. Our users are research staff from a wide range of departments and disciplines across the University. They utilise the HPC systems to perform modelling, analysis, and simulations, which are crucial components of their research.
This position offers the opportunity to build on your current technical knowledge and develop a career in the IT Research community. With a tailored training and development programme defined, you will be on track to take on more independent responsibilities and projects and ultimately progressing towards the full role as Research Infrastructure Engineer.
Please note that due to Home Office visa requirements, this role may only be suitable for first-time Skilled Worker visa applicants if they are eligible for salary concessions.
