Postal Delivery Specialist

About the Role:

Pertemps Plymouth is working in partnership with Royal Mail to source a Postal Delivery Worker to support their busy operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start the day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for the route.
  • Collect the allocated vehicle or trolley and hand-held computer device detailing the route and tracking the mail.
  • Deliver letters and parcels to the local community.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be upbeat, self-motivated, and happy to work alone as well as part of a team.

They will be helpful and approachable, displaying a strong sense of community as they get to know the people they meet on their round.

Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so the ideal candidate will enjoy working outdoors.

Working Hours:

14:00 – 20:00 approx, 5 days per week, between Monday-Sunday, working at least 25 or 30 hours per week.

Hourly Rate:

£13.37 per hour, with a higher rate for Sundays and overtime.
