Job Opportunity

Croydon Council is seeking a qualified ESOL tutor to join our team. As a sessional lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching English language skills to students at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach ESOL classes to students at CALAT centres
  • Prepare learners for progression and accreditation
  • Use IT skills to support teaching and learning
  • Hold a teaching or training qualification (CELTA or equivalent)

Requirements:

  • Experience of teaching all levels from Pre-Entry to Level 2 EFL or ESOL
  • Ability to work towards a teaching qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent)
