Senior Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Ref: BM385

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their building services team in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work on various complex projects across all sectors of the built environment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carrying out electrical building services design and development
  2. Mentoring and developing junior level engineers
  3. Designing systems for a range of projects using CAD and Revit
  4. Producing electrical design calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications for RIBA design stages
  5. Collaborating with structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors
  6. Participating in project group and technical meetings, and conducting construction stage monitoring duties

Requirements:

  1. Relevant degree in building services or electrical engineering
  2. Strong experience as an electrical design engineer in the built environment
  3. Proficiency in industry-recognised software such as Amtech and Dialux
  4. Experience managing multiple projects across mixed-use, residential, and commercial sectors
  5. Excellent communication and organisational skills
