Established accountancy practice in the Bristol area is seeking an experienced senior accountant to join their team.
This is a full-time or part-time position and the ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality accounting services.

The role involves preparing accounts, year-end accounts, tax returns, and audit work. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant or have equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate a proven ability to deliver these services.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements and ensuring they are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Managing the preparation of year-end accounts and ensuring timely submission
  • Assisting with tax returns and ensuring all necessary information is included
  • Conducting audits and providing assurance on the accuracy of financial statements

About the Role:

This is a permanent position and the successful candidate will be working closely with the existing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (or QBE) or part-qualified ACCA/ACA with significant experience
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of up to £50k depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave allowance.
