Electro-Optics Modelling Engineer

Join our team at MASS Consultants Ltd as an Electro-Optics Modelling Engineer and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions for the UK's front-line Defence.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Optics Modelling Engineer to join our Electronic Warfare Operations Support (EWOS) Group. As a key member of our team, you will work on-site with the wider project team to create leading-edge solutions to complex problems in the field of Electro Optics (EO) and their effect on the modelling of weapons systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data analytical and modelling expertise to support the UK's front-line Defence.
  • Work on real-time and faster-than-real-time software environments.
  • Run Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) scenarios.
  • Utilize C++ programming language and quickly learn extant programming languages.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in the field of Electro-Optics Modelling.
  • Degree level or equivalent in a Science or Engineering discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Physics or Software Engineering).
  • Experience in real-time and faster-than-real-time software environments.
  • Ability to quickly learn extant programming languages.
