Academic Photographer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visiting Lecturer in Photography to join our team at Birmingham City University.

About the Role: As a Visiting Lecturer in Photography, you will be responsible for delivering seminars, workshops, and tutorials to our students. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing your personal and commissioned work, as well as previous experience in teaching and commercial and studio-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students
• Develop and deliver curriculum content in photography
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to the development of our photography program

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong portfolio of your work, previous experience in teaching, and the necessary skills in commercial and studio-based practice. You should also be able to deliver the technical and theoretical knowledge of your chosen skills and practice.
