Childcare Specialist

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Childcare Level 3 Practitioner to join our team at a local Nursery in Theale, West Berkshire. As a key member of our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds and fostering their development.

**Role Details:**

* Location: Theale, West Berkshire
* Position: Full-Time, Contract to Perm
* Pay: up to £23k per annum (depending on experience)

**About the Role:**

As a Childcare Level 3 Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0 to 5 years. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, monitoring developmental progress, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for EYFS children
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and engaging
* Support children's emotional and social development

**Requirements:**

* Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or equivalent (essential)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an EYFS role
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Driving licence preferred (for travel within Theale)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
