About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Fitter to join our team at Airbus Broughton, where you will play a crucial role in assembling wings for commercial aircraft. As a key member of our Wing Build Production section, you will engage in assembly, general fittings, and component installations, while conducting repairs on metallic and composite materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install aircraft wings, ensuring high-quality and precision.
  • Conduct repairs on metallic and composite materials, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes and innovative approaches to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Completed Aerospace or Engineering Full Apprenticeship.
  • Previous experience in similar roles, such as Sheet Metal Workers, Metal Fabricators, Welders, or Mechanical Fitters.
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and adherence to high Health and Safety standards.
